Christmas Giants

Walking on Avenue of the Americas has become one of my favourite passtimes lately, not because it's close to home, but mostly because I can't get over the giant Christmas decorations that are illuminating the area these days. I'm particularly in love with these enormous fairy lights!

Red.

For some reason, I'm having a huge obsession with red lately. It seems to be the absolute perfect colour for me right now, especially as the Sun comes out and gives me the sunniest days and most amazing sunsets ever. So I naturally had to dress in red for today's post!

I chose this very simple red dress because I feel like its colour speaks on its own. I paired it with some bracelets and my Burberry bag, which you might have seen before. I wanted to keep it classy and elegant, but good enough to fit almost any occasion. So that's why I chose to wear a pair of timeless black pumps in my shoes.

Dreaming of Lace

Summer is definitely the season to wear lace. Lace dresses are my favourite, especially if you want to go for a romantic walk on the beach while the Sun sets down (yes, I'm feeling a little cheesy lately).

Unfortunately, it's not warm enough yet––and it will probably never be here in Bogota––to walk around town wearing a lace dress. It is war enough to wear lace tights, though. And to leave my jacket home!

For one of my best friends' birthday, I decided to wear this lovely Max Mara dress, together with some old lace tights I stole from my mum ages ago. She says she got them from Italy when she was about my age, so I'm actually very surprised they still exist! I also wore some red accessories, including red lipstick. It was probably the first time in my life I've dared to wear such a bold makeup, but I truly liked it. That means I might try new ideas soon!

Christmas Eve Outfit

Every great celebration needs a great outfit. As I shared with you in a previous post, Christmas Eve is very important to me because I share it with my family, while eating turkey, drinking wine and sharing gifts!

The outfit I chose to wear this year is extra-special, since it was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend. It's not only perfect-sized and very classy, but it's also really, really beautiful! I honestly can't believe he knows my fashion taste so well!
